THE SURVEY TOOLKIT IN AllyCAD
 |
The Survey Toolkit in AllyCAD allows the surveyor to create diagrams and plans, and allows survey points to be imported, exported, added and connected. It contains various templates for survey diagrams which include:
the Surveyor General Diagrams with pre-drawn title blocks as well as the General Plan

diagrams with title block, figure block and area table and template grid lines for any scale. The toolkit also has a feature that generates survey dimensions automatically for the entire plan.
The Survey Diagram can either be drawn manually or by means of a feature that allows the user to setup a diagram template. The template includes the layout of the margins, tables and necessary text.
This function also allows the required coordinates to be automatically printed in the required tables.
A Survey Diagram is a formal document that represents the surveyed property and is subject to various constraints as set out in the Survey Regulations.
The program also contains a function that allows the user to set up a template for a General Plan. The General Plan is necessary when the property is subdivided into 10 or more land parcels or if required under any law. It contains the property as well as surrounding erven with distances and bearings between each boundary beacon. In AllyCAD, you can alter and adjust the templates for Survey Diagrams and General Plans according to specific preferences.
