PRODUCT INFORMATION - version 3.4
Today we take a closer look at two time saving toolkits in
the latest AllyCAD 3.4 version:
THE CIVIL AND STRUCTURAL TOOLKIT
Civil Toolkit
The Civil Toolkit speeds up the drawing of cut and fill bank lines and sewer
capture with ease, allowing you to complete more tasks in record time.
Drawing bank cut and fill line symbols
Use this versatile tool to draw bank cut and fill lines between a shoulder
line and a toe line, or an arc. You may specify the distance between bank
lines, the ratio of short line to long lines, as well as the pen and line
types of your choice.
Drawing sewer manholes and pipes
With this function, the drawing of a pipe network has never been so easy.
Users will have the following options to allow for quick and easy output:

Manhole
names and numbers can automatically be incremented;
-
You can
place a bubble around the manhole text and can also place lines between
manhole symbols;

And
finally, you can specify the required pen, line type, text, size and layer
that you require.
Structural Toolkit
The Structural Toolkit is another handy tool. It allows you to draw a building
grid with grid dimensions, as well as grid labels with bubbles. You can also
add a column base to the grid.
In addition to this, you can create quick drawings of I sections, H sections,
channels, angles and plate girders for hot rolled steel sections, and can
create rapid drawings of angles, channels, lipped zeds and top hats for cold
rolled steel sections.
