FASTENERS IN THE MECHANICAL TOOLKIT
 |
The Mechanical Toolkit provides functions for annotating welds, tolerances and surface finishes and speeds up the drawing of common mechanical components (such as bolts, nuts and screws). It also provides functions for generating tables of coordinates and general information.
|
The Mechanical Toolkit menu simplifies the drawing of fasteners and includes Hexagon Nuts and bolts. The menu allows you to select the nut type from a drop-down list as well as the view and line type before you begin drawing. You can also draw multi equi-spaced copies of the nut by selecting the repeat function and can add your own nut definition by entering the relevant data and then saving it as a new definition.
