MULTIPLE ERF DIMENSIONING IN THE SURVEY TOOLKIT

If you have a site layout plan with erf numbers inside the erf figures, then the multiple erf dimensioning routine in the Survey Toolkit will automatically dimension the figures for you in accordance with Surveyor-General requirements.
Simply specify the CAD layer on which the erf numbers have been drawn. The 'Erf numbering and Areas table' function makes

this process trivial in itself. The routine will then locate the enclosing perimeter representing the erf boundaries and insert survey dimensions.
The routine is intelligent enough to know whether a boundary is shared between two erven. It will therefore either draw the dimension as straddling the boundary line, or alternatively, will draw the dimension wholly within the perimeter.
The program also allows options for the dimensions to consist of bearing, length or both and provides various appearance settings.
