SELECTION FILTERS
The Selection Filters tool allows you to specify and group elements within your drawing to be manipulated.
You may select by entity type (line, arc text), by property (layer, color, text font) or even by text string.
The filters are applied to all selection functions. If you set up the filters to select only arcs, you will find that when you 'Select All', only the arcs and circles will be selected. In a similar fashion, when you select everything within a Polygon, only the arcs and circles within that polygon with be selected. Once selected, the group of primitives is called the selection set. It is highlighted and surrounded by handles or nodes so that you have the option to edit, move, mirror, scale, copy, rotate or even delete within the set.
