THE MECHANICAL TOOLKIT
 |
The Mechanical Toolkit speeds up the drawing of common mechanical components (such as bolts, nuts and screws), and provides functions for annotating welds, tolerances and surface finishes. It also provides functions for generating tables
|
of coordinates, part, and general information. The Mechanical Toolkit has its own toolbar for quick and easy reference to all the functions. It also caters for a variety of fasteners which include the automatic linear or polar repeat function, Hex bolts, Hexagon nuts with or without washers, Slotted hexagon nuts and screws with various slots and head shapes. In the upcoming AllyCAD 3.6 version the Bolts function is able to draw bolts with a hex head, square head or TORZ head and can also be used to draw a threaded bar.
