Draughting and Design Conference |

The First Ever National Computer-Aided Draughting & Design Conference took place on 14 November at the Airport Grand Hotel and Conference Centre in Boksburg. The event was a success with over 50 representatives of the computer aided design industry in South Africa attending.
|
Key note speakers included Chris Brink, President of the South African Draughting Institute as well as Dr Kelvin Kemm, a mathematician, nuclear physicist and regular contributor to Engineering News. The conference explored current trends and innovation in computer aided design software and training initiatives.

AllyCAD 3.6 Features |
|
| |
Enhancements in AllyCAD 3.6 include complex hatching as well as the ability to apply a view twist for the importing and exporting of southern hemisphere DWG/DXF's.
You can import hatches with splines as boundaries and benefit from enhanced bitmap handling via a "Bitmap List" dialog.
You can also access a Coordinate Table function in the Annotate menu displaying an advanced version of the "Label Coordinates" function.
