Inserting Radiused Corners Between Elements

This Tech Tip explains how to use the Fillet function to insert radiused corners between elements or edit elements to join exactly.

The prompt provides 3 options, Neither Line, First Line or Both Lines:

By selecting Neither Line, a fillet will be inserted between two elements, but the elements will not be updated:


By selecting First Line, a fillet will be inserted between two elements and one of the elements will be updated:


By selecting Both Lines, a fillet will be inserted between two elements and both of the elements will be updated:


The prompt also allows you to specify the points to be intersected.


If you choose One Point, you will be able to select the elements to fillet with one mouse click. Note that the fillet will appear on the side of the element that you have click on.

By selecting Two Points you must select the elements to fillet with two mouse clicks. Click on the first element to be updated and then the second.
