Sheet Size and Scale

This Tech Tip explains how to use the Sheet Size and Scale function in AllyCAD

   

This function is used to either change the sheet size or re-scale a drawing without resizing the drawing or both.

In this example we are going to change the sheet size from A0 to A1, and the scale from 1:15 to 1:10





Settings Menu › Sheet Size and Scale

The program prompts:

Enter paper size (0-4)

Type in the required paper size into the command line and click on the tick. We will type in 1.

The program prompts:

Enter scale 10 for 1;10 or.1 for 10:1 etc

Type in the new scale into the command line and click on the tick. We will type in 10.

The program prompts:

Enter center point of new scale (ESC to alter without resizing).
Pressing H will jump to the center of the page.

The drawing is resized.
